I havn't blogged lately because nothing exciting has been going on in our lives. School is pretty much taking over, keeping us up until 2 in the morning and waking us up around 7. However, I never blogged about Christmas so I can do that. For Christmas we went up to my parents house in Smithfield, Utah. We spent a little over a week up there and enjoyed the company of my family. It was so nice to get away from Provo and relax for a little while before starting school up again. We also got the chance to take family pictures in the freezing snow! And then some in our house. They turned out cute... I love my family...
Valentine's day was good, but kind of a bummer considering my husband was not feeling too well. He did make me breakfast in bed (french toast) and wrote me a beautiful letter. Then we went to church (where we are primary teachers for the 6-7 year olds, LOVE IT) and then went to babysit his sister's handsome twin boys. By this time Doran was feeling much better, however, the second we got back home he got sick again. We decided to celebrate Valentine's day today with dinner and a movie. We've gone on lots of little dates in the past few weeks, so I think that makes up for it.
So there it is... the life of two busy college students. We are having so much fun being married and I can't believe next month will mark our 6 month anniversary. Doran is a wonderful husband and I feel lucky to be married to him. It wasn't a big deal to me that Valentine's Day wasn't a spectacular event this year because Doran treats me like it's Valentine's Day every single day of my life. I am constantly coming home to flowers and candles, notes in my notebook, post-its on the mirror, and smoothies in the freezer. So I guess I'm pretty lucky, because every day is Valentines day to me. :) Happy Blogging!
Good job Doran. Keep plugging along Doran and Jill, school really will be over sooner than you think. Keep making those fun memories. We love you guys!!
